{You are out of this world...}

I simply adore this super cute new collection, Monsters in Space by Lady Pattern Paper.  If you have a little boy in your life this is a must have collection.  I enjoyed every moment creating this layout.

This is my grandson on his first birthday, and he is out of the world cute and gorgeous.  A week before his party he had a little in house accident, and got three stitches and a hug band aid on his forehead.

Here is my layout.

I added some Basic Essentials, Sassy Stars Red Pop and Liewe Hexie Green Chartreuse.

 To created the background using distress inks through a bubble stencil with a finger dauber and a bubble background stamp.  I then applied light paste through a star stencil and sprinkled the stars with clear glitter.  On the bottom part of the white cardstock I splattered acrylic paint in different colours. The chipboard rocket was also painted with acrylic paint.

I fussy cut some spaceship and planets from the Orion's Pad paper and glued them to the background.  The moon, planets, aliens, rocket, polaroid frames and title was cut using my Silhouette.  I also fussy cut the monsters from the Space Party paper and glues them to the bottom corners.  I glued two of the cards from the cut-out sheet behind the polaroid frames. To complete my layout I added words from the cut-out sheet.
