{Dream with your eyes wide open...}

 Hello everyone!

Welcome to the blog today.

My October design team layout features beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

This photo is of my sweet granddaughter when she was only two weeks old.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first primed with a layer of white acrylic paint and then painted with Americana Acrylic paint.

The beautiful Big Moon was also heat embossed with embossing powder.  I used Silver, Lindy's Groovy Granite, and Iced Enamels Relique Powder in Ivory.

I painted the title with Orchid {dream} and Pansy Lavender {with your eyes wide open} and
dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

The words from the It's a Girl set and Leaves #2 were heat embossed with white
embossing powder.

The Seedlings were painted with Mint Julep Green and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.
I snipped the foliage into pieces and tucked them into the flower clusters.  The Leaves #2 were heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The stars were painted with Orchid, Pansy Lavender, and Turquoise Blue and dry-brushed the edges with white acrylic paint. I then added Ranger Stickles in Platinum for a bit of shine. A few of the mini stars were glued onto the larger stars. I painted the Page Pebble with Orchid.

The final touches to this layout included pearls, glitter, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Christmas wishes...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I am sharing my first layout using the Christmas Spectacular 12x12 Collection.  This collection is bright and cheerful and has so many fun elements.

This is a picture of James, my grandson, taken last Christmas. Look at his face!

For this layout, I used the Hidden Holly paper.

Here is my layout.

  I created a look-a-like hymnbook by layering the photo on the sheet music cardstock from the Ultimate Page Kit of Christmas Spectacular. I then layered this on V/A Naturalist and Curators Essential Bookplates and notebook edges from the Curators Essential Laser Cut Elements. I also added Ephemera Bits from the ARToptions Holiday Wishes and Christmas Spectacular. On the bookplates, I glued tabs from the Ephemera Bits.

Here you can see how I used the beautiful holly and mistletoe rub-ons under the layers.  These are included in the 12x12 Color Wash Rub-on Transfer Set.

To create the cluster, I used elements from the Greenery and General Laser Cuts. Chipboard bits and words are included in this collection, and I glued a chipboard label, tab, circle shape, stars, and chipboard words to my layout.  These cute Christmas lights are from the 6x8 Classis Rub-on Transfer Set.

This collection also includes a beautiful 12x12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used one of the sentiments for the title of my layout.

I used another sentiment here.  I made this cluster using banners and word strips from the Ephemera Bits, elements from the Chipboard Set, and Chipboard Words.

The final touches to this layout included washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Beach day...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

This is my first layout using the Vintage Artistry Sunburst collection.  This collection is perfect for documenting summer memories at the pool or on the beach.

The cute and cheerful boy is my little grandson, James.  I took these photos of him on the beach during our December holiday in Australia.

For this layout, I used the bright and bold Ray of Sunshine paper.  He is such a ray of sunshine this little guy.

Here is my layout.

I matted the layered photos on several ephemera pieces and General Laser-cut elements as well as lace and a photo wrap from the Color Swatch Ocean Laser Cut elements, a frame from the Color Swatch Ocean Frame Set, and a Curators Essential Key Lined chipboard frame. I also used a cardstock die-cut piece from the Spectrum Sherbet Remnants that are perfect for layering.  For the title of my page, I used the cute Beach Day banner included in the General Laser Cut set.

To create the three clusters, I used elements from the General Laser set, Tropical Foliage Laser Cuts, and Ephemera Bits.

I took the fish net and cut it in half to use under the layers.  I glued word strips, chipboard elements, and chipboard words to my layout.

The Sunburst collection has stunning rub-on transfer sets.  Here you can see I used sentiments from the 12x12 transfer sheet and from the 6x8 transfer set.

The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, baubles, washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Good vibes...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I made another layout using the Vintage Artistry Sunburst collection.  This is a selfie of my daughter and son-in-law they took at the Koh Phi Phi viewpoint.

Here is my layout.

For this layout, I used one of the pattern papers included in the Ultimate Page Kit. I flipped the paper horizontally and used a landscape photo. Since this pattern paper already has beautifully printed layers, I did not layer this photo.  Behind the palm trees, I used one of the sunburst rub-ons from the 12x12 Sunburst sheet.

To create the three clusters, I used elements from the General Laser set, Tropical Foliage Laser Cuts, Ephemera Bits, and elements from the Ultimate Page Kit. I glued the palm trees onto the photo.  Behind the large palm tree, I glued one of the suns included in the Chipboard Words Set.  I also added word strips from the Chipboard Word Set and a tab from the Chipboard Set.

The Sunburst collection has stunning rub-on transfer sets.  I used Good Vibes from the 12x12 transfer sheet as my title.  and from the 6x8 transfer set.

 I used the cute Beach Day banner included in the General Laser Cut set and more rub-ons. I also used butterflies and splashes from the Color Swatch Ocean 6x8 Rub-on Transfer Set.

The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, baubles, washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
