{Happy...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

This layout features the beautiful and romantic ARToptions Avesta 12x12 collection.
I love weddings!  There is just something about watching the bride walk down the aisle to
marry the love of her life, especially when it is your own daughter.

For this layout, I used the reverse side of the Bashful Paper.

Here is my layout.

The matted photos were layered on pieces from the Avesta Ephemera bits and
laser-cut elements. The Ephemera bits include beautifully weathered shutters.   I also
added a photo wrap and bow.  A variety of chipboard elements were also added to the
layout.

I then added rub-ons from the ARToption Avesta 6x8 and 12x12 rub on transfer set.

I used a variety of pretty blooms, laser cuts, and die cuts to create the flower cluster.
The edges of the flowers were dry brushed with white gesso and acrylic paint.  Look
at the beautiful rub-on I used here as well as part of the flower cluster.

I randomly added pieces of the Avesta fabric tape and torn pieces of the Curators
stitched washi tape.

To finish off my layout I added beads, glitter, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{treasure the little moments...}

Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful February mood board.  For this layout, I
used the 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Color in Sage.

Here is the mood board.

and here is my layout.

I first covered the Stump and grass, paddock fence, grass clusters #1 and #2 with clear
gesso, and then Distress Oxide in Black Soot, Walnut Stain, Iced Spruce, and Mowed
Lawn. Press the four Distress Oxide Ink pads onto a craft mat and spritz with water
creating small droplets.  I started with Walnut Stain for the base color and slid the
chippies through the droplets a few times and dry with a heat tool. Repeat with all the
colors and dry in between. I also splattered the chippies with the same colors for a
mottled effect.

The cog frame, cogs, and gears were painted with black gesso. Next, I painted them
with Americana Acrylic paint in Burnt Umber, Georgia Clay, and True Ochre, and then dry brushed with white gesso.

Foliage #10 was painted with white acrylic paint.

For the ombre effect on the title, I used Americana Acrylic paint in Mint Julep Green
and Arbor Green.

The final touches to this layout included art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.

Dusty Attic products used.

{sweet dreams...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

I have created my first layout featuring one of the new collections, the Curators
Botanical 12x12 collection. I am in love with the whole collection!

This is a photo of my little grandson Janco when he was only a few days old.

I used the bottom of the B-side of the Florilegia paper and the B-side of the solid blue
paper.  The new solid pattern papers are such a great addition to the new collections.
glued the pattern paper to white card stock. Where the two papers join I glued an edge
from the Curators essential laser-cut elements and blue lace from the Curators
Botanical laser-cut sheet.

Here is my layout.

I then added rub-ons from the Transfer Set as well as the Transfer Sheet. Look at
the gorgeous coffee stains.  From the Transfer Sheet, I used the faded stamps.

This is my favorite part, the layering, and Curators Botanical collection has the most
amazing variety of Ephemera bits and laser-cut elements.  The elements from the laser
cut sheet and Ephemera bits were layered on a Curators Essentials Bookplate. A square
file frame from the V/A Essentials was also added, as well as a tab.  At the bottom of the
layer, peeping out, I used a notebook edger from the Curators Essential Laser Cut
Elements. A paper clip is printed on some of the elements.  How cool is that?

I used the beautiful picket fence with a flowering creeper here.  It is from the
Botanical laser-cut sheet.  It was cut in half and glued to the sides of the solid blue
pattern paper.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, laser and die-cut
foliage, and flowers. Here you can also see one of the beautiful coffee stain rub-ons.

To finish off my layout I added beads, glitter, sequins, and splatters with diluted
white gesso.

49 and Market products used.

{you stole my HEART...}

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  In today's post, I am sharing my
February design team layout with you, using stunning Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

Here is my layout.

I have added the mini tap "my princess" which she indeed is.

All the chippies were first covered in white gesso. All the chippies were painted
with Americana Acrylic Paint in Boysenberry Pink, Bubblegum Pink Bahama Blue,
Mint Julep Green and dry brushed with white gesso.

What a perfect title for this layout and how much I love this little girl. I stamped the
word "love" on the plant label and glued a heart from the small heart attack panel to
the label.

To create the two flowers clusters I used pretty flowers, die cuts, chipboard foliage, and
wattle blossoms as well as pieces from the small heart attack panel. How beautiful are
these banners with the hearts? I also added two beautiful heart strings.

The final touches to this layout included pearl beads, glitter, and splatters with diluted
 white gesso.
