{Cherish yesterday...}

Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful December mood board, and the last one for 2019!  The next one will be in 2020 and I am looking forward sharing the mood board inspirations with you, they are just stunning!

Here is the mood board.
and here is my layout.

On the background I used the Leaves Stencil and a finger dauber with Archival Ink in Paradise Teal and Cobalt.

All the chipboard pieces were first covered with a layer of white gesso. I heat embossed the title with Iced Enamels in Amethyst.

 Dusty Attic has a multitude of beautiful frames to choose from.  The one I used is the Decorative Frame #5 and I also cover the frame with white gesso. I painted the frame with America acrylic paint in Pansy Lavender and Bahama blue and dry brushed with white gesso and Metallique wax in Vintage Gold  for a distressed look.

The leaves were embossed with white embossing powder.

The foliage were painted with America Acrylic paint in Bahama Blue and Victoria blue and dry brushed with white gesso.

I inked the edges of the wood slices with brown ink and dry brushed with white gesso.

Here you can also see how I used the leaves stencil.

When everything was glued down I added art stones and splatters with white gesso and Distress Spray Stain in Seedless preserves.

{Merry and Bright...} and {Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store...}

Hello everyone!

There are only a few days left before Christmas! I am sure you are all very exiting and looking forward spending time with your loved ones.

From the bottom of my heart I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May Christmas bring joy to your heart and happiness to your home.

Today I am sharing two Christmas layouts. The first one is my granddaughter and the second one is my grandson. One both layouts I used a lot of stars.

Here is my layout.

I heat embossed the title with black embossing powder.

I love these Squiggly Frames.  The frames and bracket were painted with Americana acrylic paint in Desert Turquoise and Sour Apple and dry brushed with white gesso. I then rubbed them with Distress Stickles in Platinum.

The stars were all painted with Americana acrylic paint in Desert Turquoise, Sour Apple and True Red. Once dry I covered them with glossy accents and sprinkled with Stickles Fine Glitter in Eucalyptus, Christmas Red and Platinum.

some more close ups.

When everything was glued down I added gold micro beads and splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.

Here is my other layout.

I painted the Spring tree with Americana acrylic paint in Sour Apple. I then rubbed the tree Distress Stickles in Platinum.
The stars were all painted with gold acrylic paint. Once dry I covered them with glossy accents and sprinkled with Stickles Fine Glitter in Platinum. I rubbed the page pebble with Versa Magic in Sea Breeze.

I don't have a star stamp, so I had to make a plan.  I adhered some stars to an acrylic block with double side tape and used it as a stamp. I stamped with Versamark Watermark Ink here and there on my background and embossed with white embossing powers.

When everything was glued down I added splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.
