{Love and Laughter...}

                         Hello 49 and Market fans!

Here is my layout featuring the Vintage Artistry Lilac 12x12 collection and elements from the Vintage Artistry Sky collection.  I had this photoshoot with my cute granddaughter in 2020 and the V/A Lilac collection is just perfect. She is such a fun-loving little girl and creating memories with her is very special to me.

For this layout, I used the Tranquil paper. To create the background, I used two script stamps.  I then primed the background with a layer of clear gesso.  I added color to the background using Distress Oxide in Shaded Lilac, Salvaged Patina and Wilted Violet. I used a heart stencil, finger dauber and the Wilted Violet to create more interest to the background.

Here is my l layout.

Next, I added rub-on transfers from the V/A Butter / Lilac and Sky to the background. The images on these rub-on transfers are just beautiful.

I layered my photo on pieces from the V/A Lilac Ephemera Stack and an off cut I had left from the V/A Sky Collection,  Admit One paper. From the Irrevocable Beauty Laser Cut Shapes I used a frame, daisies and You make my heart sing phrase. Here you can also see the beautiful Dusty Attic title that I have added to my layout.

To create the two flower clusters, I used Sugar Posies in Fluff and Huckleberry, Garden Petals and Enchanted Petals in Twilight. I painted the Fluff Sugar Posies with Americana Acrylic paint in Spa Blue.  I dry brushed the edges of the flowers with white gesso and Americana Acrylic Paint in Spa Blue, Pansy Lavender and Wild Orchid.

These two beautiful butterflies are from the laser cuts sheets included in the V/A Lilac and Sky collections.  The final touches to this layout included Wishing Bubbles and Baubles from the V/A Lilac and Sky collection, art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{precious moments...}

 Hello everyone!

I am sharing my June design team layout with you, using stunning Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

This is my daughter's first Mother's Day.

Journaling :  It has been an incredible journey witnessing your life unfold in beauty, to witness you bloom from daughter, to woman, to mother.  There are no words to express the joy you bring me.  You are an amazing mother to James and I am so proud of you and I wish you all the joys of Motherhood.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso, except for the Cogs, Lotus Pods and Wild Grass.
For the title I used Americana Acrylic paint in Mint Julep Green and Arbor Green.

The Cog frame and cogs from the Jumbo Cogs set were randomly covered with coarse gesso, and once dry covered with black gesso. Next, I painted the cogs with a sponge brush and Americana Acrylic paint in Burnt Umber, Georgia Clay, Arbor Green and True Ochre. I dry brushed all the cogs with white gesso and Art Alchemy Wax in Rich Copper.

These Lotus Seed Pods are just amazing, and I cannot believe I have not used them before.  I first covered the seed pods with clear gesso and then Distress Oxide in Black Soot, Walnut Stain and Ground Espresso.  Press the three Distress Oxide Ink pads onto a craft mat and spritz with water creating small droplets.  I started with Vintage Photo for the base color and slid the chippies through the droplets a few time and dry with a heat tool. Repeat with all the colors and dry in between. I also splattered the chippies with the same colors for a mottled effect. I then dry brushed the pods with white gesso and ochre acrylic paint.

I colored the the Flower Buds with Versa Magic Chalk Ink in Persimmon and Pink
Grapefruit and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

I colored the Foliage #8 with a white Uni Posca Paint Marker.

The Wild Grass were colored the same way as the Lotus Seed Pods but only with Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo.

These cute seedlings were painted with America Acrylic paint in Arbor Green and dry brushed with white gesso.

Here I used some of my favorite Wordpl@y elements.

Some close ups.

The final touches to this layout included pearl beads and splatters with diluted white gesso.
