{Chasing rainbows...}

  Hello everyone!

Welcome to the blog today. My December design team layout features beautiful Dusty Attic clouds, umbrellas, and a rainbow.  For this layout, I used pattern paper from the 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet collection.  I used the B-side of the Butterfly Flight for its beautiful bright colors.

This is my granddaughter Mila playing outside with her umbrella after it rained.  This was such a fun layout to make.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white acrylic paint, and then painted with Americana Acrylic paint.

The title, rainbow, and umbrellas were painted in Bubble Gum Pink, Boysenberry Pink, Sour Apple, Peaches 'n Cream, Whispering Turquoise, and Pineapple. I used the end of a thin paintbrush to make the dots on the umbrellas and then dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

I dry brushed the edges of the clouds with Grey Storm and Whispering Turquoise.

The two Daily #words were heat embossed with white embossing powder.
The Page Pebble was painted in Whispering Turquoise and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

To finish off my layout I added sequence, glitter, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Santa's little helper...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Here is my second layout featuring the beautiful new ARToptions Holiday Wishes 12x12 collection.  This Christmas
collection is filled with joy.

There are only a few days left before Christmas! I am sure you are all very excited and looking forward to spending time with your loved ones. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. May Christmas bring joy to your heart and happiness to your home. My husband and I will be celebrating our first Christmas in Australia with my daughter and her family, and we can't wait.

I used the Picking the tree paper for this layout.  It is perfect for this photo of my grandson Janco with his dirty happy feet playing with the Christmas van.

The photo has been layered on various pieces from the Holiday Wishes ephemera pack and laser-cut elements, and two Curators Essential Key Lined chipboard frames. I also added a square file frame from the V/A Essentials collections. The green piece is from the Spectrum Sherbet remnants. The edges of these pieces have been distressed.  I added a photo wrap from the laser-cut sheet and glued a paper ribbon and heart button to the photo wrap. The collection includes beautiful chipboard elements. I have glued some of them to my photos and on the small key lined chipboard frame.

The words on both the trucks, The joy of toys and Believe in the magic are rub-ons from the 6x8 set.  The words under the Tree, HO HO HO, script, and splats in the corners are also from the 6x8 rub-on set.

Here I used a Dusty Attic chipboard title and stars.

{Strike a pose...}

 Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful and bright November mood board for Dusty Attic

For this layout, I used paper and elements from the 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet collection.

Here is the mood board.

and here is the layout of my sweet granddaughter.

All the chippies were first covered in white gesso and Americana Acrylic paint.

The Squiggly frame, title, and butterflies were painted in Peaches 'n Cream, Pineapple, Bahama Blue, and Boysenberry Pink, and then dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

As you can see from these photos, Mila loves to pose, and this title is perfect for them.

The Foliage #23 and Seedling #2 were painted in Mint Julep Green and Sour Apple and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

I painted the daisies with white acrylic paint, and dry brushed them with Pineapple Yellow.  The center of the daisies was painted with a yellow Posca pen.

A close-up.

To finish off my layout I added pearls, glitter and splatters with diluted
white gesso.
