{Totally Pawsome...}

Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the gorgeous Dusty Attic mood board.  I just love these beautiful warm colours.

This is my daughter and our old man Stoffel on his 16th birthday.  Sadly, a few months later he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  He was such a special fellow, and I am sure you will agree, incredibly handsome.  Stoffel was such a sweet, sweet dog and one of a kind.  He was an angel in fur with paws wrapped around my heart.  I miss him every single day.  The quote on this layout is so true, I do have memories of Stoffel that will last a lifetime...

Here is the mood board.

and here is my layout.

All the chipboard pieces were first primed with white gesso.  The title as well as the mini foliage were embossed with white embossing powder.

This beautiful frame is also one of the stunning new releases. I painted the frame with Americana acrylic paint in Green Mist and dry brushed with white gesso and gold metallique wax.

The foliage #10 were embossed with green embossing powder.

I painted the blooms #1 with Americana acrylic paint in Antique Rose and dry brushed with white gesso, snipped in half and tucked them under the flower clusters.

When everything was glued down I added art stones and splatters with white gesso.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.

I hope I have inspired you to give this mood board a go and we look forward seeing your creations. Please visit the Dusty Attic website online store to view all the amazing designs.

{Best friends furever...}

Hello everyone!

I am sharing my October design team project with you.
Whoever said that diamonds are a girl's best friend never had a dog!
This is my granddaughter and her best friend Neelsie.  She loves Neelsie and he adores this little human. These two are inseparable.

Go check out these amazing new pet chippies on the Dusty Attic online shop.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies on this layout were painted with Americana acrylic paint.

I used my Silhouette to cut this cute puppy.

{She's and old soul with young eyes...}

Hello everyone!

I cannot get enough of this beautiful collection by Lady Pattern Paper.

For this layout I used the Tiles paper and white cardstock as a base for my layout and where the two papers meet I used washi tape.  I matted the photo on cardstock and left over strips from the Mosaic and Trellis paper. I also cut out blocks from the Tiles paper and randomly glued them under my flower cluster.

Here is my layout.

The title was heat embossed with white embossing powder.
When everything was glued down I added art stones, and splatters with diluted white gesso and black ink.
some close ups.

{She is the sweetest badass...}

Hello everyone!

Here is another layout using the stunning Sister Tribe collection by Lady Pattern Paper.  Please visit her Facebook page for more inspiration.
This is my favourite double layout sketch to use. It is a perfect way to use the journaling cards from the cut-out sheet. I used white cardstock as a base for my layout. I used the Trellis paper for top part of my background cut in half.

I layered strips from the Mosaic paper, Stone paper, Basic Essentials Gingham and Script Intense Teal on the background.

I used the “she is the sweetest badass you’ll ever meet” from the cut-out sheet for my title.
I used my Silhouette to cut out the tabs and hearts.

Here is may layout.

and some close ups.
