{Glimpse of heaven...}

 Hello everyone!

Welcome to the blog today. My June design team layout features beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

This is a photo of my little grandson Janco and my granddaughter Mila when he was only a few days old. This was love at first sight. They are best friends and love each other dearly.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white acrylic paint, and then painted with Americana Acrylic paint.

The beautiful and perfect title, Foliage F10, and the Word Disk, Hello World were heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The Foliage #4 Heart Attack Panel was painted in Boysenberry Pink, and Poodleskirt Pink. I snipped it in five pieces and tucked them under the flower clusters.

I inked the bird nests with Chocolate Versa Magic Ink and the edges in Slate Grey. The eggs were painted with white acrylic paint and Slate Grey.

These stunning Wordpl@y elements were dry brushed with white gesso, Boysenberry Pink, and Poodleskirt Pink.

I painted the tap in Grey Storm and Grey Sky and dry brushed them with white acrylic paint.  I popped some of the hearts out of the panel and glued them like water drops dripping from of the tap.

I painted the Cogs in Grey Storm and Grey Sky and dry brushed them with white acrylic paint.

Some close-ups.

The final touches to this layout included, pearl beads, glitter, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Best friends...}

 Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

Here is another layout featuring the beautiful Spectrum Gardenia 12x12 collection. This colorful collection is perfect for this photo of my daughter and her best friend. For this layout, I used the Menagerie Medley.

Here is my layout.

I layered the photo on lots of pieces from the Ephemera Bits, Floral, Leaves, and Essential laser cut elements.  I also added frames from the Color Swatch Ocean and Lavender frames sets. To make the black and white stripe tabs I used the B-side from the Painted Foundations Color Wheel paper.

I used hearts mounted on foam tape from the Ephemera Bits, and added a few rub-ons and chipboard words.  At the sides of my flower clusters, I glued extra large butterflies from the Butterfly Laser Cut set.

For the title, I used the words Best Friends from the chipboard word set. To create the cluster at the bottom I layered elements from the Chipboard Set, Ephemera Bits, and a film strip from the Essential Laser Cut set.  I also added a few butterflies from the 6x8 Botanical Rub-on Transfer Set, and butterflies from the Washi Sticker Roll.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, some old and new ones, Leaves, Butterflies, and Floral Laser Cut Elements.

After everything was glued down, I added wishing bubbles and baubles, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{A little bit country...}

 Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

Here is my layout featuring the beautiful Vintage Artistry Countryside 12x12 collection. For this layout, I have used the reverse side of the paper called Sunny Days.  This collection is vibrant and full of fun elements.

My daughter and her husband visited family in Ireland. They visited a Pet Farm in Dingle where you get to pet and feed sheep and goats.

Here is my layout.

The matted photo was layered onto distressed ephemera pieces. I glued a chipboard label, tag, circle shape, hearts, and chipboard words to my layout.

This collection includes a beautiful 12x12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used one of the sentiments for the title of my layout.

The flower clusters are made of Laser Cut wildflowers and Elements. Some of the flowers and foliage are raised with foam tape.  The picket fence, basket, roosters, and signpost are from the Laser Cut Elements. The picket fence was cut in half and glued to the sides of the photo.

I added butterflies from the Laser Cut Wildflowers. I used another sentiment from the 12x12  Sentiments Rub-on transfer sheet.
