This is my take on the challenge at Scrap Africa to use only plain card stock. I used different variations of peach. I started by distressing and inking all the edges of my card stock. I stamped my background and added texture paste over it and then I inked and outlined some of the bricks. I had to redo my background about 3 times until I was satisfied and used the "scrap" to make the flowers.
This is my take on the March sketch at SCRAP THAT. I loved working with this sketch so much. My journaling is tucked in behind the photo and reads : My husband surprised me with this vintage car salvage yard one afternoon. I was so amazed. The cars were arranged to occupy as little space as possible...waiting on their sentence. I wandered around unhindered taking photos and gazing in awe at the decaying relics that were once proud masters which seems a life time ago...and here is the sketch.
This is my take on the March challenge at Once Upon a Sketch. You had to create
a layout about what you love about the weekend. I love this Sketch, it is so
versitile. My journalling is tucked in behind the photo on the left. Every
Sunday morning after church my husband and I have coffee and cake at different
coffee shops. That is our chat time and very special...
