This is my take on the challenge over at More than Words. This is what the October challenge looks like.  I used the word change in my journaling and I used different shades of purple and lilac on my layout.

Mila was three days old when I had the privilege to photograph her.  There is nothing quite as sweet as tiny little baby feet. When I hold them in the palm of my hand, I am in awe of the sweetness of this little girl, who simply changed our lives from the minute she was born.  She teaches us every day to appreciate the sweetness of life that is found in the smallest moments. Little baby feet even make kisses sound different...♥♥♥

My journaling on the back of my layout reads: You finally arrived on the 12th August 2016 little Mila and changed our lives forever.  You are our first grandchild.  We waited in anticipation for your arrival.  Your daddy called and we came to see you at the hospital for the first time.  It was love at first sight.  I touched your little hands and feet and I asked God to bless and protect you.  I will be praying for you for as long as I am alive and longer.  I am so grateful and very blessed to be your Grandmother and I love you beyond words!

{Wedding wishes...}

This is my take of the challenge over at the More Than Words Challenge. I used flowers, beads, mist, die cut and a flair.

and here is my layout

I feel delighted every time I look at my daughter’s wedding photos. It was such a wonderful and perfect day and she looked beautiful.  The journaling  on the back of my layout reads:  It has been a great joy to watch you grow from a young girl into a beautiful woman.  And now, as you mark the start of this next chapter in your life, I wish you and Juan a life full of wonderful adventures that are wrapped in love.  I pray that you, my beautiful daughter and Juan will be blessed on your wedding day.  I pray that you grow to be stronger people, both individually and as partners, and that your lives together will glorify God.

{It's a girl...}

Life doesn't get much better than is...I am going to be a grandma for the first time and I couldn't be happier!  How fortunate for me.  We have been waiting for this miracle for a while, but I am a firm believer that all things come when they are supposed to.  It is just at times it is so hard to wait!!  This is my son and daughter in law, and was photographed by me the day the doctor announced the gender of the baby...It's a girl...!  So much excitement awaits us and we are looking forward to the journey!

{You are the sun in my day...}

2016 started off with exiting and anticipation.  My daughter got married on the 20th February.  This was a momentous time in our life, a beautiful and awe-inspiring occasion for our family.  I was witnessing my little girl step into the full bloom of her womanhood, an extraordinary transformation.
Where has the time gone? There was no time for scrapbooking as this was a DIY wedding, from flower arrangements to table decor and props.  We worked extremely hard to make this day perfect, but it was worth every moment and some tears I might add!  This is my first layout this year and this is photos of the newlyweds when they were still dating.  Thank you for looking.
