{Smile...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

This is my first layout using the amazing new Color Swatch Teal Collection. I used this photo of my daughter.

For this layout, I used Paper 4.

Here is my layout.

The are so many great elements in this collection and they are perfect for layering. I layered the matted photo on pieces from the Ephemera Stackers.  I also used frames from the Color Swatch Ocean collection, and an assortment of elements from the Color Swatch Toast Laser Cuts. I embellished my photo with two clips from the Color Swatch Teal Mini Laser Cut sheet as well as a tag.  The photo wrap is from the Color Swatch Toast Laser Cut sheet.  All the edges were inked.

For my flower clusters, I used a variety of pretty flowers. The edges of the flowers were dry-brushed with white acrylic paint. I tucked in a few leaves and flower elements from the Color Swatch Teal Laser Cut sheet as well as acetate leaves and butterflies from the Color Swatch Toast and Inkwell collections.

To create this cluster I used elements from the Teal, Inkwell, and Toast laser cut sheets.

I then added rub-ons from the Color Swatch Toad 6x8 Rub-on transfer set to the top right and button left of the page.

The chipboard word and word strip that I used here are from the V/A Moonlit Garden chipboard word set.  I built another cluster here and used bits from the Ephemera Stackers as well as elements from the Toast laser cut sheet.

The final touches to this layout included pearls and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Hello there...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

This is my first layout using the amazing Vintage Artistry Moonlit Garden 12x12 collection.  I used this photo of my daughter and her family and changed the color cast of the photo
to sepia.

For this layout, I used the Calming paper. I love the shades of green on this paper. Choosing which paper to use was a difficult decision since all the papers in this collection are simply stunning.

Here is my layout.

I layered the matted photo on pieces from the Ephemera Bits, Laser Cut Elements, as well as a green frame from the Nature Study Ephemera and a frame from the Color Swatch Grove frame set.

The flower clusters are made up of 4 different flower collections. The edges of the flowers were painted with white acrylic paint and then coloured according to the paper's palette. I also added flowers and foliage from the Laser Cut Wildflowers and acetate leaves from the Color Swatch Grove collection.

To create this cluster I used a ticket, a butterfly, a small chipboard frame from the chipboard bits, and elements from the Ephemera Bits.

This collection also includes a beautiful 12x12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used one of the sentiments for the title of my layout. The All My Heart sign is included in the Ephemera Bits. I also glued a few more chipboard words and phrases to my layout.

The final touches to this layout included washi stickers, art stones, and splatters with diluted
white gesso.
