{Hello winter...}

Hello everyone!

I am back with layout inspired by the beautiful February mood board. I love the soft colours of this mood board. It looks like snow and winter and cold, and that is why I used these photos of my daughter.

Here is the mood board.

and here is my layout.

For my title "hello Winter" I used a digital brush designed by Kate Pertiet.

This is how I treated the chippies.
I inked the beautiful Decorative Frame #4 with Versa Magic in Sea Breeze.

The Scroll Set #2 and Iron Accents #4 were heat embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder in White. I snipped the Scroll Set into pieces and tucked them under the flower clusters.
The Wattle Blossoms were heat embossed with Iced Enamels in Turquoise.
The leaves #2 were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Grey Storm and dabbed with white acrylic paint.

The Wordpl@y elements are my favourite chippies and adds magic to any layout.

Some close ups.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.

Thank you for visiting the blog today.  I hope you find some time to play along with this mood board and some gorgeous Dusty Attic chippies.

Happy crafting!

{Down on the farm...}

Hello everyone!

I am sharing my February design team project with you. My layout is filled with so many wonderful elements.  Die cuts, flowers and of course Dusty Attic chippies. My daughter and her husband visited family in Ireland last year April.  They visited a Pet Farm in Dingle where you get to pet and feed sheep and goats. They took the most amazing photos especially for me, I think.

Here is my layout.

This is how I treated the chippies.

The wagon wheels, driftwood and chicken wire were painted with brown and black acrylic paint and dry brushed with white acrylic paint. I snipped the chicken wire into pieces and tucked them under the flowers. The wood slices were dry brushed with brown, white and green acrylic paint.

I painted the Foliage #4 with green, yellow and turquoise acrylic paint and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

The Foliage #13 and #16 were heat embossed with yellow and green embossing powder.

I kept the title simple and just painted it with brown acrylic paint.

some close ups.

When everything was glued down I added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.
