{Dream tomorrow...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today. I used a combination of Color Swatch Toast and Inkwell. These two collections are perfect together.  For this layout, I used the reverse side of the cover page from the Color Swatch Toast 12x12 Collection paper pack.

Here is my layout.

For the layering of the matted photo, I selected frames from the Color Swatch Toast Frame Set, and a 4x6 file frame from the V/A Essentials frame set.  I also added cardstock die-cut pieces from the V/A Serenity remnants pack. I chose a sheet from the C/S Toast Collage sheets, which I tore into strips before gluing them down.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, some old and new ones.  These two collections include stunning acetate leaves which were also added.  I fussy cut some of the acetate leaves and added them between the flowers and glued some onto the layout. Elements from the Toast and Inkwell laser cut sheets were also added to the flower cluster. I randomly glued laser-cut buttons and acetate butterflies to the layout.

I then added rub-ons from the Color Swatch Toad 6x8 Rub-on transfer set to the top right and button left of the page.

A few more photos.

{Happy Easter...}

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the blog today. My April design team layout features beautiful Dusty Attic Easter elements. I have now used all my Easter chippies. This layout is filled with carrots and bunny ears peeking out everywhere.  They are just so cute.

This is my daughter and her family celebrating Easter.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white acrylic paint, and then painted with Americana Acrylic paint.

I glued pink cardstock behind the ears of the bunny title.

For the rust effect on the spade and watering can I lightly covered them with white gesso making sure I don't cover the detail. With a sponge brush, I then dabbed the spade and the watering can with Grey Storm, Slate Grey, and randomly with Georgia Clay.

I covered the picket fence with white acrylic paint, Grey Sky, and the edges with Grey Storm.  This was glued on top of the carrots, plant labels, and bunny ears.

{Happy days are here...}

 Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Here is another layout featuring the beautiful new Vintage Artistry Tranquility 12x12
collection. This collection is so romantic, and I love weddings! When a bride walks down
the aisle to marry her love, there is just something magical about it. This is a photo of
my daughter on her wedding day.

For this layout, I used The Undisturbed View paper.

Here is my layout.

I framed the photo with a V/A Essentials whitewash chipboard frame. This was then
matted on V/A Tranquility laser cut elements, Ephemera bits, and Color Swatch
Eucalyptus frames.  I also used a card stock die-cut piece from the Spectrum Sherbet Remnants.
I glued a few elements from the V/A Tranquility chipboard set and
words onto the frame.

For the title, I used a beautiful sentiment from the 12x12 Rub-on transfer sheet.
I added butterflies, hearts, and stitches from the 6x8 Rub-on transfer set.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, butterflies, and laser-cut wildflowers.

To create this cluster I used a ticket, and tag from the Ephemera Bits.  I also used a
circle shape, heart, and word from the chipboard set.

After everything was glued down, I added pearls, glitter, and splatters with diluted
white gesso.

{Cute as a bunny...]

 Hello everyone!

Here is my project inspired by the April mood board which features beautiful Dusty Attic
Easter chipboard pieces.

I made this waterfall album to celebrate my grandson James' first Easter.

Here is the mood board.

Here is my album.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white acrylic paint, and then painted
with Americana Acrylic paint in Tangelo Orange, Peaches 'n Cream, Pineapple, Bahama
Blue, Sour Apple, and Slate Grey.

{Perfect...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Here is my layout featuring the beautiful ARToptions Plum Grove 12x12 collection.
For this layout, I used the bottom half of the Flight of Fancies paper as I wanted to use the
 barcode and the bottom half of the Bountiful paper.

Where the two papers join in the middle, I added a watercolor image from the 2x12
Color Wash Rub-on Transfer Sheet.  In the top right corner, I added rub-ons from the 6x8
Rub-on transfer set. In the top left corner, I made a cluster using chipboard hearts, and ephemera bits.

 Here is my layout.

For the layering of the photo, I selected elements from the Ephemera Bits, Laser
Cut Elements, a frame that I cut from the backing, and a frame from the Square File
Frame set.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, laser-cut wildflowers,
and laser-cut elements.

A word from the word set was used as the title.
