{Handsome, strong and brave...}

 Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I am so excited to share my layout designed with the amazing Rust & Revs 2.0 collection. I love the industrial and mechanical motifs.  The textures and color palette give a natural feel perfect for masculine layouts and adventure themes.

This layout is a tribute to this awesome man I married 42 years ago. He is not perfect, but to me he is, and he will do anything for me.  He brings balance to my life. He makes me laugh, and at the same time he drives me crazy. He is such an optimist and the most positive person I know.  His attitude is that every day is going to be a great day, that there is always something to be happy and thankful about. He never gives up on anyone or anything. He knows how to say sorry, forgive and he is known for his mercy...

Thank God every day for your husband.  Hug him, hold hands, say I love you daily and above all, pray for your husband every day asking God to care for and bless your husband. There is no husband on earth who cannot benefit from the prayers of his wife.

For this layout, I used the Dashing Paper. The giant gear and chain motif reflects a rugged, mechanical tone, ideal for portraying strength and character.   The base page of my layout is Solid Sheet 1 from the Solids Collection Pack. I then trimmed the Dashing Paper down to 11.5x11.5" to make a frame around my layout.

My next step was to build layers under my photo. The photo was layered on strips from the 6x8 Collection Pack, which I die-cut with tab and torn paper dies.  All the edges were distressed with brown ink. I used this beautiful rub-on from the Rub-on Transfer Set.  They are perfect and easy to use on a photo. This set is filled with beautiful and inspirational words and quotes.

For the title, I selected the words Handsome, Strong and Brave from the Chipboard Words. Some more rub-ons were added to the background.

To create the clusters, I chose several pieces from the Lasercut Elements set along with pieces from the Die-cut Elements pack. The vintage Land Rover, gas pump and toolbox elements elements add rugged charm and perfectly reflect character and resilience.  I also used two frames from the previous Rust and Revs Collection. Foam tape was used underneath some of the elements to create dimension. I then added several phrase and word chipboard pieces to my layout.

49 and Market product used.

 Thank you for visiting the blog today.

Happy crafting!
