{Welcome to the world...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I am sharing a layout I created using the absolutely adorable Little Celebrations collection. The soft, muted pastels give this collection a very gentle, dreamy look that’s perfect for baby-themed projects. It has a vintage and whimsical feel, which is timeless and elegant.

For this layout, I used the Bundle of Joy paper, it perfectly captures the innocence and sweetness of a newborn.

My next step was to build layers under my photo. The photo was layered on strips from the 6x8 One Perfect Day Collection Pack and the 12x12 Building Blocks paper, which I die-cut with tab dies.  All the edges were distressed with brown ink.

For the title, I selected sentiments "Welcome to the World", and "Look out world here I come",  from the Rub-on Transfer Set which add such warmth and are subtly blended into the photo, enhancing without overpowering it.

More rub-ons were added to the background.

A gorgeous set of Laser Cut Elements is included in his collection and I layered and adhered them around the photo.

Adding the die-cut banner at the bottom to echo the top banner creates a lovely visual balance and frames the photo perfectly.

The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, dots and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{Handsome, strong and brave...}

 Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I am so excited to share my layout designed with the amazing Rust & Revs 2.0 collection. I love the industrial and mechanical motifs.  The textures and color palette give a natural feel perfect for masculine layouts and adventure themes.

This layout is a tribute to this awesome man I married 42 years ago. He is not perfect, but to me he is, and he will do anything for me.  He brings balance to my life. He makes me laugh, and at the same time he drives me crazy. He is such an optimist and the most positive person I know.  His attitude is that every day is going to be a great day, that there is always something to be happy and thankful about. He never gives up on anyone or anything. He knows how to say sorry, forgive and he is known for his mercy...

Thank God every day for your husband.  Hug him, hold hands, say I love you daily and above all, pray for your husband every day asking God to care for and bless your husband. There is no husband on earth who cannot benefit from the prayers of his wife.

For this layout, I used the Dashing Paper. The giant gear and chain motif reflects a rugged, mechanical tone, ideal for portraying strength and character.   The base page of my layout is Solid Sheet 1 from the Solids Collection Pack. I then trimmed the Dashing Paper down to 11.5x11.5" to make a frame around my layout.

My next step was to build layers under my photo. The photo was layered on strips from the 6x8 Collection Pack, which I die-cut with tab and torn paper dies.  All the edges were distressed with brown ink. I used this beautiful rub-on from the Rub-on Transfer Set.  They are perfect and easy to use on a photo. This set is filled with beautiful and inspirational words and quotes.

For the title, I selected the words Handsome, Strong and Brave from the Chipboard Words. Some more rub-ons were added to the background.

To create the clusters, I chose several pieces from the Lasercut Elements set along with pieces from the Die-cut Elements pack. The vintage Land Rover, gas pump and toolbox elements elements add rugged charm and perfectly reflect character and resilience.  I also used two frames from the previous Rust and Revs Collection. Foam tape was used underneath some of the elements to create dimension. I then added several phrase and word chipboard pieces to my layout.

{Isn't she lovely...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Welcome to the blog today.

I am sharing a layout using the beautiful new One Perfect Day collection. I love the soft pastel colors, and romantic vintage style with lace and florals.

There is just something about seeing the bride walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life.  This is my beautiful daughter on her wedding day.

For this layout I used the Beloved and Eternity Paper.

I layered the photos on strips from the 6x8 Collection Pack. All the edges were distressed
with brown ink.

I selected words from the chipboard collection for the title.

To create the clusters, I used Laser Cut Elements, Wildflower Laser Cuts, die cuts and chipboard words.  I glued the wedding dress and frame on a piece of the brick paper from the 6x8 Collection Pack. Next, I glued the window frame onto the "brick wall" with foam strips for dimension.  I then decorated the window frame with more laser cuts, raising most of them with foam tape.

The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, and splatters with diluted
white gesso.
