{She sees in black and white...}

     Hello everyone!

What an amazing and challenging March mood board for March!  I loved creating this layout using some beautiful Dusty Attic.

Here is a lovely quote by Ted Grant. "When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes.  But when you photograph them in black and white, you photograph their souls."  This is a photo of my daughter that I took many years ago.

This is the mood board.

And here is my layout.

All the chippies, except for the mini tab and wordpl@y were first covered with white gesso.

Lindy's Groovy Granite embossing powder was used to heat emboss the Iron Garnish, which was a perfect match for the mood board.

The butterflies were covered with Art Alchemy Metallique wax in Brushed Iron and edged with black ink.  Here you can see where I used the mini tab "just be you."

I only used the sentiment from the "She loves" title pack.  The sentiment was dry brushed with Americana Acrylic paint in White and Slate Grey and edged with Distress Oxide in Black Soot. The large butterfly that I used here is a serviette from my stash.

I inked the Flower buds with Distress Oxide in Iced Spruce and edged them with Distress Oxide in Black Soot.  The Foliage and Mini Scrolls were painted with  Americana Acrylic paint in White.

The final touches to this layout included pearl beads, glitter, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
Dusty Attic products used.

Thank you for visiting the blog today.  I hope you find time to play along with this mood board.  Share your projects on our Facebook Page here for your chance to win a $50 (AUD) credit for two lucky winners to the Dusty Attic online shop so you can choose your very own chippies you would like to use.

Happy crafting!
