{Fun times...}

Hello 49 and Market fans!

Here is my first layout for November, featuring one of the newest collections, Vintage Artistry In the Leaves 12x12 collection.  This collection is simply beautiful and perfect to scrap all those autumn photos as well as outdoor photos.

I raised my daughter to spend substantial amounts of time in nature from early in her life, and she is doing the same with her little boy. Nature inevitably yields many physical, mental and emotional benefits.  I took these photos a few years ago, and they are perfect for this collection.

For this layout, I used the V/A In the Leaves Harvest paper and the bonus sheet from the 12x12 Collection Pack. I used two sheets of white card stock as the base of this layout, and after cutting the Harvest paper in half, glued it to the sides of the white card stock. I glued two strips that I punched out with a border punch to the bonus sheet, and then glued the bonus sheet onto the white card stock.

Here is my layout.

I have used a combination of In the Leaves, Butter and Lilac, Naturalist and Teal and Mango Rub-On Transfers on the background. They all work so well together and my favorite addition to my layouts. I used the words Cool, Crisp, and Days from the In the Leaves Rub-on transfers on the VA Essentials square file frames. I used the phrase Beautiful Moments from the Dream Set stamp.

I layered my photos on pieces from the V/A In the Leaves Ephemera Bits and V/A Essentials square file frames.

Another stunning new release are the Whitewash Chipboard frames in different sizes.  They are just amazing.  I have used a large rectangular frame for the photo on the left side and a square frame for the photo on the right. How cute are these clothespins?  They are also a new release.

Here you can also see how I used two of the chipboard stickers.

To create the three flower clusters, I used Royal Posies and Majestic Bouquet in Tomato, Royal Posies and Royal Spray in Olive, Rustic Blooms and Rustic Bouquet in Marigold, Sugar Posies in Fluff and Royal Posies in Sunshine. I painted the Sugar Posies in Fluff with Americana Acrylic paint in True Ochre.  I painted the edges of all the flowers with coordinated acrylic paint and white gesso.  The combination of colors is stunning!
The laser-cut sheet from this collection is beautiful.  The photo in the middle shows one of the pieces that I have used.

After everything was glued down, I added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.

49 and Market products used.

Thank you for visiting the blog today.

Happy crafting!
