{good things take time...}

Hello 49 and Market fans!

Here is my first layout for August, featuring the beautiful Vintage Artistry 12x12 collection.  I love the colour combination and coordinates perfect with my photo.

I am using a photo of my daughter and son-in-law's maternity shoot in August 2020.  Their little miracle was born on the 29th September 2020 and is almost one year old.  How time flies!

For this layout, I used the Breeze paper.

Here is my layout.

The background of the Breeze paper that is already so beautiful with the script that you do not have to add much more, except rub-on transfers. Who can resist these in any case? I used rub-on transfers from the V/A Sky/Navy and Wedgewood collections.

I layered my matted photo on pieces from the V/A Wedgewood Ephemera Stack. The collection pack includes two sheets of lase-cut elements.  These are fabulous and easy to use.  I used "good things take time" as the title for my layout and randomly glued the laser cut sequins to my layout.

To create the flower clusters, I used Sugar Posies in Blue Raspberry and Butterscotch, Royal Posies in Ocean Jade and Midnight, Country Blooms in Ginger, Garden Petals in Parchment and Royal Spray in Ocean Jade. The edges of the flowers were dry brushed with white, navy, peach, and jade acrylic paint. From the B-side of the Sublime paper, I added two rosette flowers that I have cut with my Silhouette. I added die cut foliage and flowers as well as a few chipboard elements.

The final touches to this layout included Wishing Bubbles and Baubles, art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
