During our vacation in Mozambique during December 2010, we stopped at an old Portuguese graveyard where I took these photos of the title angel. In my mind I already had a title..."Broken Angels"...and knew one day I will make a layout using these photos.
In the broken world we live in our children often experience a great deal of disappointment and sadness. As mothers, we have to pray for them without ceasing. We have to realise how dependent we are of God, and constantly remind ourselves of His promises. That He plans a future for our children, a new beginning, an expectation. We want the best for our children and that they receive the desires of their hearts. This prayer is always in my heart for my children. One day we will stand in awe by the way their life's are filled with laughter and the gift of love, and we have all learned to give things over to God's care so that the trials and the victories and the times of doubt would be used for His purpose...
