I love colour and design and along with my passion for photography it just seemed like a natural progression to combine all my favourite things. I love taking photos and through scrapbooking I view the world and my surroundings in a different way. I appreciate and notice things a lot more now, and I am much more conscious of the photos I take. I find the most enjoyable aspect of scrapbooking is the transformation that takes place when a photo is brought to life, simply by surrounding it with enhancing colours and embellishments. My husband, my children and my two beautiful grandchildren are the main focus of my scrapbooking and my inspiration. It is important for me to express the love of my family through the layouts I create. Scrapbooking allows me to create something so intimate, pretty and filled with memories for myself and my loved ones. Life is filled with “big moments”, these are all moments that should be photographed and documented for family history. Thanks to my amazing and supportive husband and the “sponsor” for my addiction. I am lucky to have a room that is dedicated to scrapping, which is also my little heaven on earth my own retreat.
