Hello 49 and Market fans!
Here is my first layout using one of the new STUNNING collections designed by Katie Pertiet. This is the Vintage Artistry Teal 12x12 collection. This collection is simply beautiful, and the colour combination coordinates so well with my photograph.
For this layout I used the Flutter paper.
Here is my layout.
The design of the Flutter paper is so amazing you do not have to do anything to the background. I only added Teal & Mango, Naturalist and Sky & Navy rub-on transfers to the corners and under the flower clusters I used leaves from the Naturalist rub-on transfers. Here you can see how I used the Teal wishing bubbles and baubles.
Next, I framed the matted photo with a frame from the V/A Teal laser cut sheet. This collection includes two sheets of stunning laser cut elements. I layered the photo on pieces from the Teal Ephemera stack. Two new additions to the Vintage Artistry Essentials collection are the whitewash chipboard frames and rectangle stitched frames which I cut in half and added to the layer as well as a tab from the Square File Frame set. On the corners of the whitewash frames, I glued screws from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Hardware sets. These are epoxy coated stickers and look so real.
I have built my flower clusters using flowers, laser cuts and die cuts. For the flowers I have used Blossom Blends in Sea Breeze, Majestic Bouquet in Midnight, Royal Posies in Midnight and Ocean Jade, Rustic Bloom in White Heron, Sugar Posies in Fluff and Sugar Stems in Blue Raspberry. The edges of the flowers were dry brushed with white gesso and acrylic paint.

After everything was glued down, I added beads, glitter and splatters with diluted white gesso.
