Hello 49 and Market fans!
Here is my first layout for October featuring the beautiful Vintage Artistry Essentials 12x12 collection. A few years ago, I had this photoshoot with my daughter wearing vintage clothes. I changed the colour cast of the photo to sepia for a more vintage look. This collection is perfect for vintage photos.
For this layout I used the Essence paper. To create the background, I used two script stamps. I then primed the background with a layer of clear gesso. I added colour to the background using Distress Oxide in Tattered Rose and Frayed Burlap.
Here is my layout.
Next, I added rub-on transfers from the V/A Coral / Natural to the background. The images on these rub-on transfers are just beautiful.
I layered my photo on pieces from the V/A Essentials Ephemera Bits and the V/A Everyday Ephemera Stack. I framed the photo with a V/A Essentials 4x6 File Frame. From the V/A Natural laser cut sheets I used three of the lace die cuts at the top and bottom of the layout as well as one on the photo.
To create the flowers clusters, I used Sugar Posies in Tutti Fruitti and Fluff which I painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Dusty Rose, Majestic Bouquet and Royal Posies in Marble. I dry brushed the edges of the flowers with white gesso and Americana Acrylic Paint in Dusty Rose and Melon.
Here you can also see how I used the beautiful Wishing Bubbles and Baubles in Sage and Coral.
After everything was glued down, I added splatters with diluted white gesso.
49 and Market products used.

Happy crafting!
