Hello everyone!
I am sharing my October design team layout with you, featuring some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces and the gorgeous 49 and Market Wedgewood and Anywhere collections.
I took these photos of my daughter the year she started University. Because she started a new journey in her life, I decided to do this photo shoot at a railway crossing which resembles a journey to an unknown destination. She has done so well on her journey, and I am extremely proud of her.
Here is my layout.
The title, Geo Tags and foliage were first covered with white gesso. I painted Destination with Americana Acrylic paint in Whispering Turquoise and dry brushed the edges with Greek Haze Acrylic Chalk paint. The word unknown I painted with White Wash. The Geo Tags were painted with the Greek Haze Acrylic Chalk paint and the edges dry brushed with white gesso. I painted the globe with black gesso.
To colour the Foliage #27 I used Versa Magic Chalk Ink in Sea Breeze and dry brushed the edges with white gesso. The Foliage #12 were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Mint Julep Green and the edges dry brushed with white gesso.
The Hot Air Balloons, Cogs and Mini Chains were randomly covered with coarse gesso, and once dry covered with black gesso. Next, I painted the parts using a sponge brush and Americana Acrylic paint in Burnt Umber, Georgia Clay, Tangelo Orange, Greek Haze Acrylic Chalk paint and True Ochre. I dry brushed all the parts with white gesso and Art Alchemy Wax in Rich Copper.
These stunning Wordpl@y elements were dry brushed with white gesso and then Americana Acrylic paint in Peaches 'n Cream and Greek Haze Acrylic Chalk paint.
I inked the mini compass with Brilliance Pigment Ink in Chocolate.
After everything was glued down, I added splatters with diluted white gesso.
Thank you for visiting the blog.
