Hello, 49 and Market fans!
Welcome to the blog today.
For this layout I used the Great Big World paper from the Vintage Artistry Everywhere 12x12 Collection.
In 2007 my husband and I visit China. To get photographs of the Monks not only requires you to get their permission, but you have to be in the right place at the right time. I took this photo of the two friendly Buddhist Monks in the Forbidden City in Beijing.
Here is my layout.
To create the background, I added two maps in the left and right corners using images from the VA Everywhere 12x12 Color Wash Rub-on Transfer Sheet, words from the 6x8 Album Kit and edges and stamps from the Rub-on Transfer set. I wanted to add some red elements to my layout and used butterflies from the 6x8 Spectrum Gardenia Botanical Rub-on Transfer Set.
I layered the matted photo on pieces from the Everywhere laser cut elements and ephemera bits. For a splash of red, I used some of the red and white frames, and ephemera bits from the ARToptions Holiday Wishes collection. The layers were glued to one of the papers from the 6x8 Collection Paper pack collection and then glued on my layout.
I used two clusters from the amazing Everywhere cluster kit on my layout. I changed it a bit by adding elements from the ephemera bits, laser cut elements and chipboard words.
I used my Silhouette to cut out the Geo Tag and layered it with a red butterfly from the Spectrum Gardenia Butterfly Laser Cuts Elements, and V/A Everywhere chipboard elements.
Here I used a blue butterfly from the Spectrum Gardenia Butterfly Laser Cuts Elements.
The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, baubles, washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
49 and Market products used.
Thank you for visiting the blog today.
