Hello, 49 and Market fans!
Welcome to the blog today.
This is my first layout using the amazing Kaleidoscope 12x12 Collection. I am documenting a photo of my daughter. I altered the color cast of the photo to sepia.
For this layout, I used the Treasured Teal paper.
Here is my layout.
I used rub-ons from the Kaleidoscope Essentials and Botanical and the Color Swatch Teal transfer sets on the background.
I layered the matted photo on pieces from the Ephemera Bits and Stacked Frames. I also used frames from the Color Swatch Grove collection, and an assortment of elements from the Color Swatch Teal Ephemera Stackers. The photo wrap is from the Color Swatch Ocean Laser Cut sheet. All the edges were inked with a brown ink pad.
I used a variety of pretty blooms, laser cuts, and die cuts to create the flower cluster. The edges of the flowers were dry brushed with white gesso and acrylic paint. I painted the white flowers to suit my layout. On the rosettes, I glued a circle chipboard piece and words from the Laser Cuts Elements.
For the title, I used one of the Chipboard Words and adhered it to my photo.
The final touches to this layout included wishing bubbles, washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
49 and Market products used.
