Welcome to the blog today.
I am sharing my first layout using the Christmas Spectacular 12x12 Collection.
This layout is of my cute little grandson at a Christmas picnic. The joy on his little face is priceless.
For this layout, I used the Christmas Spectacular Welcome paper and the ARToptions Holiday Wishes, The Village paper. The Welcome paper was cut in half for the sides and glued to cardstock and the Village paper was glued to the center of the layout.
Here is my layout.
I added washi tape from the Christmas Spectacular Washi Tape Set to the edges of the
Village paper. I layered the matted photos on pieces from the ephemera bits, ticket ephemera, and film strips.
To create the cluster between the two photos I used one of the pattern papers from the 6x8 paper collection and trimmed it to 6x4 inches. I embellished it with elements from the general laser cut sheets, chipboard words, ephemera bits, and chipboard sets. Most of the elements were raised with foam tape for dimension.
I added two large acetate holly leaves here and Christmas ornaments from General Laser Cut Elements.
This collection also includes a beautiful 12x12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used Dear Santa for the title of my layout.
The final touches to this layout included washi stickers, and splatters with diluted white gesso.
