{You are strong...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Here is my layout featuring the beautiful new Vintage Artistry Serenity 12x12 collection.  This
collection is just beautiful.  I love the colour palette of blues, greys, and vintage browns.

For this layout, I used the Calming paper. Not an easy choice. All the papers are
just amazing.

Here is my layout.

The matted photo is layered on pieces from the Serenity laser cut outs, Ephemera
bits, Remnants pack as well as Curators Essential laser cut elements.

This collection includes a beautiful 12x12 inch Sentiments rub-on transfer sheet, and
I used one of the sentiments for the title of my layout.   The 6x8 inch rub-on transfers are
just as beautiful.  I used a butterfly cluster and the text Grace and Beauty which describes
my daughter perfectly.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, rosette flowers, foliage die-cuts,  and butterflies.

Here you can see how I used the Serenity chipboard bits.

{little daredevil...}

 Hello everyone!

I am sharing my September design team layout with you, using stunning Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

For this layout, I used the Vintage Artistry in the Leaves collection from 49 and Market.

This is my little grandson James and his best friend from Childcare.
He just adores Monty and is so gentle with him.

Here is my layout.

Chipboard pieces are always painted with Americana Acrylic paint unless otherwise stated.

All the chippies were first covered with a layer of white gesso.

The words from the Word Pack#6 set and Bookman ABC letters were painted with Slate
Grey and Burnt Umber.

The Dinosaurs were painted with Arbor Green, True Ochre, Georgia Clay, Hauser
Light Green, Burn Amber, and Slate Gray.

Here you can see how I used one of the mini tabs.

{explore..}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

I just love the new Curators Meadow, it is an amazing collection.

This is a photo of my grandson James. There is something about baby feet and bums that I just adore.

For this layout, I used the B-side of the Arbor paper.

I layered 3 pieces of Bookplates from the Naturalist and Curator Essentials collections
to make it look like a real book complete with tabs and rub-ons.  I then layered the photo
and bookplates on Ephemera Bits and laser-cut elements.  I used a beautiful laser-cut
frame and bamboo.  I also added a few rub-ons to the background.

The mushroom clusters are made up of a variety of die-cut mushrooms, chipboard
toadstools and wild grass, mini acetate foliage, foliage die cuts, and the super cute
jackal, mouse, and squirrel. I layered the log, mushrooms, and laser-cut foliage on top
and behind the paddock fence.

The tags were used to make banners.

Here is a closeup of how I decorated the bookplates.  I added a yellow moth rub-on
and acetate butterfly.

I used a Dusty Attic chipboard title and glued a gecko to it.

{day dreamer...}

Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the stunning September mood board, and featuring
Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. For this layout, I used the Ingenue paper from the 49 and
Market Vintage Artistry Lilac collection.

This is my daughter during one of our many photo shoots a few years ago.

Here is the beautiful mood board.

and here is my layout.

 To create more detail on the background I randomly stamped with a Music stamp,
then I primed the background with clear gesso.  To add more colour to the background,
I used Distress Oxide in Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, and Lindy's Tea Pot Purple. Then
I glued Tim Holtz tissue paper, butterflies from a serviette, and Vintage Artistry Butter/Lilac
and Sky/Navy rub-ons.

All the chippies were first covered in white gesso.

Unless otherwise stated, chipboard pieces are painted with Americana Acrylic paint.

The Music Hashtags words, mini scrolls, and ATC frame were heat embossed with
white embossing powder.  For the title, I used the mini tab Day Dreamer.

 I glue words onto my flower clusters by first gluing them onto acetate, and then applying transparent matte gel to them.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms and die-cut foliage and flowers.
I coloured the lavender with Plum and dry brushed it with Wild Orchid and white acrylic paint.
The Wildflower was painted with Whispering Turquoise and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

How beautiful are these new Botanic Buttons?  I just love them!  They were
coloured with  Whispering Turquoise, and Wild Orchid then dry brushed with white
acrylic paint.

The Music Flourish and Music Notes were painted with Lamp Black.

Some close-ups.

The final touches to this layout included art beads, sequins, and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{make a wish...}

Hello, 49 and Market fans!

Here is another layout using the beautiful Spectrum Sherbet.

I picked these beautiful Dandelions on the roadside near my house.  They were huge.

For this layout, I used the Cotton Candy and Blue Moon papers from the Spectrum 12x12 Sherbert classics pack. The torn piece of the Blue Moon was laid over the Cotton Candy and adhered. Under this strip I added rub-ons from the Sherbet Tidal Wave 12x12 sheet which was cut in half, for the top and the bottom.

To the corners, I added washi tape from the Vintage Artistry Essentials washi tape. I stamped the background randomly with a script stamp.

The matted photo is layered on pieces from the Spectrum Sherbet Tidal Wave frame set, Ephemera bits, Essentials laser cut elements, a frame from the Curators Botanical laser cut set and V/A Essential square file frame.

Next, I added more rub-ons.  I used Spectrum Sherbert Leaves, palettes and Tidal Wave rub-on set.

The flower clusters are made up of a variety of pretty blooms, Dusty Attic Dandelions, flower stamens, foliage die-cuts, rub-ons, and acetate leaves. I also added beautiful flowers and butterflies from the Tidal Wave laser cut sheet, and elements from the Spectrum Sherbet Essential laser cut sheet.

To finish off my layout I added Sky baubles, pearls and splatters with diluted
white gesso.
