{You are one of a kind...}

 Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful September mood board featuring some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces. I added ahdes of blue to my layout.

This is my grandson James.  He is super cute and definitely one of a kind. A baby boy arrives, and just like that, everything changes.  The world gets bigger, hearts grow fuller, and life means more because he's in it.

Here is my layout.

and here is the mood board.

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso and painted with acrylic paint.  Very simple this time.

I love making these cute tear bears.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used.

Thank you for visiting the blog.  I hope you find time to play along with this beautiful mood board.

{A walk on the beach...}

 Hello 49 and Market fans!

Here is my layout featuring the Vintage Artistry Shore 12x12 collection and the laser cuts, ephemera stack and rub-ons from the same collection.  I changed the colour cast of the photos to sepia to suit this very colourful layout.

For this layout I used the Tritons Shell A and B side (I had two of these) and the sides of the Barrier Reef.

To create the texture on the background I randomly stamped with a bubble stamp.  Next, I primed the background (only the Barrier Reef paper) with clear gesso.  I added a design with a stencil and white crackle texture paste.  Once cracked and dry, I added colour using Distress Oxide in Broken China and Faded Denim.

Here is my layout.

I layered the matted photos on pieces from the V/A Shore Ephemera stack.  I glued a 4x6 frame from the V/A Essentials File Frame Set to the middle photo.  Here you can see how I used rub-ons on the tabs.

Next, I worked on the three clusters.  The Shore collection included two stunning laser-cut sheets.  I used elements from both sheets with a few different chippies and die cuts.

For the fish and fishnet, I used foam tape for dimension.  I used some of the beautiful rub-on elements as well.

Here is a close up of a few of the chippies that I have used.

The final touches to this layout included art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.

{cherish yesterday...}

 Hello everyone!

I am sharing my September design team layout with you, featuring beautiful Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

Here is my layout.

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso.

I painted the Scalloped Circle with Heritage Acrylic Paint in Quilt Blue and dry brushed with white acrylic paint. On the background I used the Leaves Stencil and Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn.

I painted the mini titles with Americana Acrylic Paint in White Wash, the "yesterday"  with Heritage Acrylic Paint in Quilt Blue and "cherish" with America Acrylic Paint in Wild Orchid.

The leafy stem and foliage were painted with Americana Acrylic Paint in Arbor Green, Mint Julep Green and Plum.

The final touches to this layout included splatters with diluted white and black gesso.

{Beautiful moment...}

Hello 49 and Market fans!

Here is my layout featuring the beautiful Vintage Artistry Coral, Vintage Artistry Sage and Vintage Artistry Butter.  I love that I can mix and match the different collections, they all go so well together.

For this layout, I used V/A Coral Love Letters on the sides, the B-side of the V/A Coral Fleur and the B-side of the V/A Sage Echoes paper in the centre of my layout. I left the bar strip on the bottom of the V/A Sage Echoes paper and trimmed the equivalent off the top of the page.

Here is my layout.

Next, I added rub-on transfers from the V/A Butter/Lilac, Blush/Sage and Coral/Natural to the background.

I layered my matted photos on pieces from the V/A Sage Nouveau Ephemera Stack. Here you can also see the beautiful Dusty Attic title that I have added to my layout.

To create the flower clusters, I used Royal Posies in Mango, Olive, Sunshine, Sugar Posies in Fluff and Tutti Frutti, Blossom Blends in Cantaloupe and Majestic Bouquet in Mango. I dry brushed the edges of the flowers with white gesso, acrylic paint, gold rub and gold glitter.
I added foliage die cuts and Dusty Attic chippies.

I glued these beautiful Wishing Bubbles and Baubles from the V/A Coral and Sage Collection to the Rosette flowers.

The final touches to this layout included art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
