{with all my heart...}

 Hello everyone!

Here is my layout inspired by the beautiful October mood board.

I am again using photos of my daughter's maternity shoot. They had a wonderful
photographer who allowed me to share some ideas which I found on
Pinterest with her.

I love these photos of my daughter and it warms my heart
every time I look at them.  I changed the colour cast of the photos to sepia to match
 the mood board.

Here is the mood board.

Here is my layout.

I found this story book in one of our local bookstores. The title of the book is
"Guess how much I love you..." by Sam McBratney and I answered with the beautiful
title "with all my heart."

All the chippies were first covered with white gesso.

I painted the title with Americana Acrylic paint in Whispering Turquoise, Open water
and White for an ombre effect.  The bracket was painted with Whispering Turqoise.

The leaves were heat embossed with Ranger's white embossing powder.

I heat embossed this beautiful Wrought Iron Trim set with Zing embossing powder in Powder.

I painted the flutterbies with Americana Acrylic paint in Blueberry water and dry brushed
the edges with Whispering Turquoise and white acrylic paint.

The Tea Leaves and foliage #23 were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Green
Mist, Hauser Light Green and dry brushes with white acrylic paint. All the chippies
were lightly rubbed with Art Alchemy Metallique wax in Vintage Gold.

Some close ups.

{Special moments...}

Hello everyone!

I am sharing my October design team layout with you using some stunning
Dusty Attic chippies and the gorgeous Mintay Harmony collection.
These are photos of my daughter and son in law's maternity shoot.  Their little
miracle was born on the 29th September 2020.  He is the most beautiful little boy
and I feel so blessed to be his granny

Here is my layout.

This is how I treated the chippies.

I used the large string frame and painted the frame with Martha Stewart acrylic
paint in Surf.

The title and ATC Frame were heat embossed with Ranger white embossing powder.

I coloured the the Flower Buds with Versa Magic Chalk Ink in Persimmon and Pink
Grapefruit and dry brushed with white acrylic paint.

I coloured the Tropical Foliage with Versa Magic Chalk Ink in Aegean Blue and
the feathers with Sea Breeze.

I chalked the two bird nests with Chocolate Versa Magic Ink.
The small branch set were coloured with Distress Oxides in Mowed Lawn, Dried
Marigold and Walnut Stain.

some close ups.

I love adding these stunning Quoted Sentiments and Wordpl@y elements to my projects.  They are amazing.

After everything glued down I added art stones and splatters with diluted
white gesso.

These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I have used.

{Favourite moments...}

 Hello everyone!

It is a lovely raining day in Pretoria. Perfect time to be indoors and creative.

Here is another layout using the Little Moments collection designed by Lady Pattern Paper and Dusty Attic chipboard pieces.

I used photos from my grandson's newborn photo shoot.

Here is my layout.

I used textured white cardstock as the base for my layout. For the background I
used the very cute Cuddly Time paper. I fussy cut all the quotes from the B side
of the Dream Big pattern paper that would be suitable for my layout and the fox,
bunny and bear and two banner pieces from the B side of the Snip Snip paper.
The vertical banners were cut from the B sides of the Best Friends,
Soft Blooms and Cuddly Time.

The Dusty Attic chippies were all covered with acrylic paint.

These are the Dusty Attic chippies that I have used.

Happy crafting!
