Hello everyone!
I am sharing my May design team layout with you. May layout is filled with many wonderful elements. Die cuts, flowers and of course Dusty Attic chippies. I used the beautiful Wise and Free collection from Uniquely Creative. This collection is perfect for this layout of my little granddaughter with her Christening. This layout is inspired by Teresa Ueckermann. She is an amazing artist.
Here is my layout.
This is how I treated the chippies.
I painted the title with Americana Acrylic paint in Boysenberry Pink and Poodleskirt Pink and blended the colours with white acrylic paint in the center to give an ombre effect.
This beautiful Ornate Circle were painted with Americana Acrylic paint in Boysenberry Pink and dry brushed with white gesso.
I covered the flower buds with course gesso and then with white gesso. I then painted the buds with Americana Acrylic paint in Bubble Gum Pink and dry brushed with white gesso and rubbed with Metallique Wax in Vintage Gold.
The Swirls and Delicate frame were heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I covered the Wordpl@y #2 with white gesso, making sure I get into the letters. Once dry I brushed the words with Americana Acrylic paint in Green Mint and dry brushed with white gesso. I waxed the edges with Metallique Wax in Vintage Gold.
The Foliage #9 were coloured with Distress Oxide in Evergreen Bough. I have cut these up and placed among the flowers.
When everything was glued down I added art stones and splatters with diluted white gesso.
These are the Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I used.
